AURA

Who would we be in another universe?
This series follows that thread, in a way.
I think about our other possibilities in parallel universes — our other ways of living, our other selves.
Perhaps an experience we live through in this life, we are living in an entirely different form in another dimension.
Perhaps something we have here does not exist at all in another version of things.
Perhaps where we fall silent here, another version of us expresses itself in a far stronger, far freer language.
For me, this series speaks not only of different possible lives, but also of the invisible selves that exist within us, layer upon layer.
The states of us that are constantly transforming through time, choice, and experience — sometimes hidden, sometimes revealed…
Each figure feels like a vibration seeping into this world from another dimension, just for a moment.
Familiar, yet not entirely belonging here.
Close, yet just as unreachable.
In this work, too, I thought about a heightened state of selfhood — one in which we are able to make our inner self whole.
A state that draws on feminine energy in its strongest form, that has realized her own being, whose aura runs high.
A presence settled into its own centre, one that does not suppress its light but carries it exactly as it is.
But this is not the story of only one woman.
It is, in fact, a possibility that could exist within all of us.
For me, this figure carries not separation, but a sense of unity.
Because we are all part of a whole, and yet we each have our own essence, our own frequency, our own light.
And perhaps, in other dimensions, far bolder, far stronger, far freer versions of that light are living.
This figure is one of those infinite possibilities.
Perhaps a version of ourselves existing at its highest aura.
Or perhaps a version of ourselves that, in another dimension, has fully remembered its light.
